I was advised by somebody at my internet provider that I could use KA9Q to set up an inexpensive internet router. What I want to do is put a machine on our net that would dial our internet provider when a packet arrives at it destined for the internet. I would prever to use PPP for the dial protocol, but CSLIP would be fine as an alternate. I got a verion of KA9Q from the net, and have it on a machine in our net, talking to the rest of our local net. What I can't figure out is how to actually get the PPP interface to dial out, and then dial out when a packet arrives for the internet. I'm hoping somebody can point me to a KA9Q distribution, or document on how to do this sort of thing. Thanx, b. -- Brian J.
